Hi, I'm Jon Sidwell
I am recently retired from full-time employment after many decades of serial entrepreneurship combined with periods of executive positions in major corporations.
My motivation is now to share my experience and skills to with small businesses, non-profit organisation and charities who might benefit from them.
The ultimate goal being to see those I work with realise their full potential, in whatever form they seek. Whether that be financial success, growth realisation or simply to deliver the best service they can to their target customers.
Services.
Tactical
Some challenges types are current and a priority. They need analysing and addressing with urgency.
They may be rooted in the financial heath of the business, address a shortfall in customer base, the growing (or contracting) staffing situation or something else completely.
But in each case they will almost certainly need an injection of additional time and energy to address, often in ways that were not clear or obvious until they were introduced into the consideration mix.
Then once agreed, they need implementation, backed by enthusiasm, experience and confidence of their ability to provide the outcomes being sought.
Fast and focussed implementation can often be the determinant of success and failure.
Strategic
Where time is not quote so pressing (See tactical), then a more considered and strategic approach can be adopted.
This should be focussed on confirming the precise goals and objectives of the business, together with an honest appraisal of the current situation and prospects for the future.
Only once the current and future positions on the roadmap are clear, can an accurate routing be planned to guide the business to the desired end state.
That path and its pace can then be guided by a number of different approaches to whatever are then identified as either rate determining or threats to the ultimate achievement of the agreed end goal
With decades of experience in this filed, i believe i can significantly increase the chances of staying on the correct roadmap course.
